Srinagar: With the civilian killings going on unabated in Kashmir, PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti Tuesday said despite regressive measures taken in the name of security; people are being killed.
Mehbooba Mufti said it after a civilian was killed last night in Srinagar. She also said that the security situation has deteriorated in J&K, and no week goes by when an innocent person does not lose his life.
She further said that it is unfortunate that people are being killed despite repressive measures taken in the name of security.
PDP chief also extended her condolences to the family of a civilian who was killed in Srinagar yesterday evening.
“Security situation in J&K has deteriorated to an extent where not a week goes by when an innocent doesn’t lose his life. Unfortunate that despite repressive measures taken in name of security, people are being killed & have no sense of dignity or normalcy. Condolences to his family (sic),” said Mehbooba Mufti in a tweet.
