DDC Shopian reviews progress under District Capex 2022-23/ Deliverables

SHOPIAN: The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting to review the status of progress and targets achieved during the current financial year of various departments including R&B, PHE, PDD, Health, Tourism, RDD, Education, Irrigation, and others.

The DDC called for regular monitoring of all the developmental works and greater coordination between departments so as to attain better results.

He stressed on evolving clean and responsive Administration to work for welfare of common masses and stressed upon all to ensure quality works by taking up work execution as soon as possible.

During the meeting, the DDC also sought status report about the progress of ongoing development works and stressed for gearing up their developmental activities to complete the assigned targets which also include projects like transit accommodation (Tribal) at (Dabjan Lal Gulam), Transit accommodations Allowpora (Migrant) and water supply schemes under JJM, besides other projects of economic and social development in a time bound manner.

He exhorted upon the officers to work with dedication. He further directed for completing all the pending developmental projects of the district within the shortest possible time for the well-being of the people of the district.

The DDC also reviewed progress under the 3 month targeted programme of Deliverables and it was informed in the meeting that under deliverables, targets of which are to be completed within 3 months period, 90 percent achievement have been made so far in the district.

Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Shopian, Manzoor Hussain; Chief Planning Officer, District/Sectoral Officers attended the meeting.
