SHOPIAN: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today chaired a meeting at Mini Secretariat, here to review the estimation and tendering process of works of RDD, Jal Shakti, R&B, Health, School Education, Irrigation, Urban Development, Wildlife and Sports departments in detail, to be covered under district Capex and NABARD.
The DDC called upon all to complete estimation within days and float tenders so that works are taken up for execution early. He stressed upon all to complete works well before the end of the financial year.
He also enjoined upon departmental heads to provide more focus and work hard to better the previous year’s financial and physical achievements.
During the meeting, detailed sector wise review of works under NABARD and District Capex was done.
DDC also called upon the officers to work with dedication and personally monitor the quality of work so that the people get durable assets and warned that any kind of laxity will not be tolerated in this behalf.
During the deliberations, it was intimated that many departments have already tendered the works to be covered in the ensuing financial year.
Joint Director Planning, S. Es and Ex. Engineers of engineering departments, ACD and district officers of other concerned departments were present on the occasion.
