RAMBAN: A two day training program on Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network for the Cold Chain Handlers was today organized here under the United Nations Development Project.
During the two day training all the 22 selected Cold Chain Handlers from across the district would be trained in preserving, entering, stocking and distributing the vaccines especially meant for children whenever required, with the help of a specially designed mobile Application (App).
Each of the 22 trainees was also given a free smartphone to make use of the special Application (App.) meant for the purpose.
The training session was inaugurated by the District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan in presence of Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Farid Bhat and Assistant Commissioner Development, Zamir Ahmed Rishu.
The training programme was coordinated by the three member team headed by the Development Project Officer, Dr,Vinod Kumar.
The DDC appreciated the organization for hosting the training programme for the medicos which would help them to improve vaccination delivery as well as service in an effective way.
He stressed upon the participants to patiently learn the know-how of Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network to improve their professional skills.
