RAJOURI: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, today convened a meeting in the VC Room of the DC Office Complex to review the preparedness for the launch of the HPV Vaccination Programme and operationalization of telemedicine facilities at Badhal, Dhar Sakri and Bagla Kotli in coordination with Government Medical College Rajouri.
Threadbare discussions were held for effective implementation of telemedicine services in these identified locations to provide access to specialized healthcare to the local population.
Emphasizing the need for capacity building, the DDC directed the Health Department to impart hands-on training to the concerned staff for smooth implementation and management of telemedicine facilities.
He further instructed the preparation of a comprehensive roster for daily online consultation of doctors, including specialists from paediatrics, medicine, dermatology, gynaecology and orthopaedics to ensure regular and structured service delivery.
The DDC also reviewed the planning for the rollout of the HPV Vaccination Programme and stressed the importance of proper micro-planning and awareness to ensure maximum coverage of eligible beneficiaries. He directed the officers to put in place a well-coordinated strategy for effective implementation of the programme across the district.
ADDC Rajouri Malikzada Sheraz-ul-Haq, ACR Mohammad Jahangir Khan, Medical Superintendent Shamim Ahmed, CMO Manohar Lal Rana, CEO Mohammad Hafeez and other district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
