POONCH: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma conducted an inspection visit to border panchayats Digwar Terwan and Degwar Maldiyalan.
The DDC was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Shakeel Ahmed Malik and Block Development Officer (BDO) Arshad Hussain Mayer. He reviewed recently executed District Capex and MGNREGA works undertaken by the Rural Development Department.
The DDC inspected a newly constructed waiting shed at Shamshan Ghat, Degwar Maldiyalan, executed under the CD PYT scheme at a cost of ₹25 lakh. He also reviewed the recently completed Panchayat Ghar in Degwar Terwan.
The DDC emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality standards in all development works and directed the BDOs and Junior Engineers to prioritize community-centric projects. He urged officials to ensure timely completion and sustainability of initiatives aimed at enhancing rural infrastructure and public welfare.
