KULGAM: Amid heavy snowing, Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Showkat Aijaz Bhat today visted several areas in Kulgam and took stock of snow clearance operations and restoration of essential services.
He was accompanied by DSP,Hqrs, GM. Bhat and other officers.
He directed the concerned to ensure restoration of essential services in all areas of the district.
The Deputy Commissioner also paid a surprise visit to District Hospital (DH) Kulgam to inspect patient care and the medical services being provided there.
During his visit he interacted with the patients and attendants and enquired about the facility being provided to them in the hospital.
He exhorted upon the concerned to ensure that roster is strictly followed and patients are served with utmost dedication and sincerity at the institution and to ensure patients are being provided good medical service at hospital.
He also directed to ensure proper heating arrangements in wards and other places in hospital.
