DC Udhampur hands over sanction letters to beneficiaries under Mission YUVA

UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, today handed over sanction letters to beneficiaries under the Mission YUVA scheme here at a brief function held in the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex.

The event was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh, General Manager JK Bank, Tariq Ali, DGM, Lalit Parkash and AGM, Naresh Kumar.

While interacting with the beneficiaries, the DC congratulated them and informed them about various welfare schemes launched by the Government aimed at supporting unemployed youth. She emphasized that Mission YUVA is not merely a financial assistance programme, but a movement to promote self-reliance and entrepreneurship among the youth.

The DC urged the beneficiaries to utilize the financial assistance judiciously and work towards establishing sustainable and dignified livelihoods. Appreciating the coordinated efforts of J&K Bank in processing and facilitating cases under the scheme, she stressed the need to expedite the disbursal of financial assistance in a smooth and hassle-free manner.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the government for launching the Mission YUVA initiative, which provides financial assistance and continuous handholding support for setting up their own business ventures.
