RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today inspected progress on maintenance and macadamization work on NH-44 and enforcement of Covid-19 restrictions and SoPs in the district.
The DC directed the executing agency to accelerate pace of the maintenance work for hassle free movement of traffic on the National Highway.
During the visit, the DC also reviewed the implementation of restrictions imposed to contain spread of Corona infection. The DC directed transporters and traders to folllow Covid protocols and take covid- 19 vaccination to protect themselves from infection.
Meanwhile, the enforcement teams also realized fines from people for violating orders like roaming without face masks and not maintaining social distance. They impressed upon people to wear masks, wash hands, maintain social distance, take vaccine doses and stay indoors.
