DC presides over grievances redressal camp at Kulgam

KULGAM: To take first hand appraisal of issues and grievances of people for timely redressal under the initiative of block diwas,  a grievances redressal camp was held at Townhall Kulgam which was presided  over by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.

During  the grievances redressal camp, the DC listened to grievances and issues of people for redressal.

At the outset of the programme, ACD Kulgam Mohmmad Imran Khan gave a brief of action taken on the issue and grievances raised in previous block Diwas.

People from Chancer, Khull, Ahmad Abad, Mirhama, Watihall Qazigund, Srandoo, Shorat, Nanibugh, Gudder,Hadigam, Okey  and various other villages.

The delegations put in various demands including construction of Bridge between Ashthal Gudder road, demarcation of land for playfied at Nanibug and providing of new Poles and electric wires, development of interior roads and completion of new building for health centre at Khull.

Auqaaf members from Watihal demanded land for a Middle school in the village.

PRI members from various areas also raised several developmental issues and requirements  of their areas.

Officers on spot responded to the queries and issues pertaining to their departments.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public issues and grievances redressed scores  of the grievances on spot and assured of taking rest of demands with concerned quarters.
