DC Poonch reviews Change of Land Use (CLU) cases

POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a meeting to review the status of various Change of Land Use (CLU) cases in the district.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed assessment of the performance of concerned departments in processing CLU applications. A total of 12 cases were taken up for review. Of these, eight cases were reverted while four cases were deferred after extensive deliberations on their compliance with existing norms and policies.

Stressing the importance of timely issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs), the DC directed the concerned officers to ensure thorough document verification and strict adherence to policy guidelines. He emphasised the need to streamline the CLU approval process to enhance transparency and efficiency in future cases.

The meeting was attended by ACR, Chief Agriculture Officer, CEO PDA, officers from BRO and Executive Engineers from PWD, JPDCL, I&FC, along with other concerned officials.
