POONCH: Deputy Commissioner, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review arrangements for the Independence Day- 2021celebrations here at Dakbunglow Poonch.
The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at sports stadium Poonch whereas similar functions would be held at all tehsil headquarters.
The arrangements for parking facility, Drinking water facility, security, Barricading, Decorations, seating arrangements, Media gallery, Implementation of Covid19 SOPs guidelines were discussed.
The DC asked for ensuring tight security and maintaining cleanliness in and around the venue. He also directed for making health care arrangements at the venue.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the PDD and PHE to ensure uninterrupted Power and water supply on the scheduled day. It was informed that Full Dress Rehearsal shall take place on August 13.
The Information department was asked to make arrangements for the Public Address System and media coverage of the event, while the DC said that the celebration will begin with the playing of Shahanai by the Information department.
The meeting was Senior Superintendent of Police, Vinod Kumar; Additional District Development Commissioner, Abdul Sattar; Additional Deputy Commissioned, Dr. Basharat Hussain; Assistant Commissioner Development, Rajesh Lakhan; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Zaheer Kaifi; Headquarters Assistant Jahangir Khan, Tehsildar, Bashir Ajnum Khatak, executive agencies besides all concerned officers were present.
