DC calls for immediate eviction of illegal occupants
POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting to review the status of government residential quarters/accommodation in the district.
The meeting held threadbare discussion regarding the status of government residential quarters and issued directions to vacate quarters from the possession of illegal occupants, conduct Physical verification of all the quarters, HRA deduction details against all the quarters besides various issues.
During the meeting, the DC directed the Xen PWD, Tehsildar Haveli and Police Authorities to vacate the quarters where occupants are staying illegally and also directed to complete the process immediately and submit the report.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the ADC to collect the HRA details from all DDO’s within two days.
The directions were issued to SDM Mendhar and Tehsildar Surankote to submit Physical Verification Report of all the government residential quarters in their respective domain within two days.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Dr. Basharat Hussain, SDM Mendhar, Dr. Sahil Jandial, Tehsildar Haveli, Anjum Bashir Khattak, Tehsil Surankote, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. G.A Malik, Xen, PWD, besides other concerned officers were also present.
