KUPWARA: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, today reviewed the functioning of the newly established Centre of Excellence (CoE) for e-Governance at the DC Office Complex, Kupwara as well as Common service centres operating in the district.
Centre of Excellence for e-Governance has been established with the objective of providing digital services to citizens as well digital literacy.
He added that the centre will serve as a Model Common Service Centre (CSC) and citizen can avail can avail facility of guidance as well as on spot enrolment to various financial inclusion and social security schemes including Atal Pension Yojana (APY), PM-Jan Jeevan Yojana (JJY), PM-Suraksha Bima Yojana (SBY), Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PMSYM), E-Shram, PM Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), e-KYC, PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana , Digital Banking, Aadhar Services Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, Jeevan Praman, Digi Dost etc.
He also reviewed newly operationalised CSC touch points in the district in terms of VLE wise transactions and registrations done regarding different schemes and other digital services provided so far.
He directed District Manager CSC as well as concerned Tehsildars/BDOs to regularly visit these centres and monitor their performance.
