KUPWARA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today distributed Contractor Cards among 07 unemployed youth of the district, here.
Speaking at the occasion, the DC said that 4000 such cards are ready for distribution among the eligible youth which would be distributed among them up to 11th of this month during working days within office hours.
He said these card holders can participate in the tendering process of development works under Capex Budget up to Rs.3 lakhs.
The DC expressed gratitude towards the Government for providing such an opportunity to the unemployed youth of the district, adding that it is the best initiative for youth empowerment in the district.
