KUPWARA: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, today visited the Digitization Centre at Tehsil Kupwara to conduct an on-spot verification and assessment of the ongoing digitization of Jamabandis.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the digitization process in detail and assessed the accuracy and quality of the records being digitized. He emphasized the importance of maintaining accurate, complete, and error-free land records, highlighting that digitization plays a crucial role in ensuring transparency, efficiency, and ease of access for the public.
The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the staff at the Digitization Centre and issued necessary directions to ensure strict adherence to prescribed standards and timelines. He stressed that any discrepancies or errors must be promptly identified and rectified to maintain the integrity of land records.
