DC Kulgam inaugurates Capacity-Building Workshop for Krishi Udhyamis

KULGAM: A one-day Training-cum-Workshop for Krishi Udhyamis of 81 Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) of District Kulgam was organized by the Department of Agriculture Kulgam here at the  Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat, Kulgam.

The programme was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan.

 While addressing the participants, the DC urged the Krishi Udhyamis to work with zeal and dedication in the best interest of the farming community and appreciated department for organising such programmes.

During the programme, 27 left-out Krishi Udhyamis were provided with Micro-ATM and Biometric L1 devices.

Technical sessions on onboarding of services were also conducted, and detailed information regarding Agriculture and Allied Sector schemes was provided by District and Technical Officers of various departments.

Cheif Agriculture Officer informed that the sessions aimed at strengthening the functioning of Kisan Khidmat Ghars and improving last-mile service delivery to farmers.

The programme was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Altaf Ahmad Khan; Chief Agriculture Officer, Farooq Ahmad Reshi and the State and District Coordinator CSCs.
