KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, today chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation and progress of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme in the district.
During the meeting, the DC reviewed key components of the scheme, including beneficiary registration, skill training, toolkit distribution, with special focus on credit linkage.
Stressing the importance of timely credit support for successful implementation of the scheme, the DC directed concerned line departments and banking institutions to enhance coordination, identify bottlenecks, and expedite the processing and disbursement of pending credit cases.
Lead District Manager (LDM) was instructed to ensure that all cases sanctioned are promptly disbursed.
Principal, ITI was directed to ensure distribution of toolkits to all trained beneficiaries, and to take up any issues related to toolkit delivery with the concerned authorities.
The DC further emphasized the need for proactive measures to ensure speedy and effective credit linkage for eligible beneficiaries across the district.
