KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma today reviewed the progress of digitization of Jamabandi records under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for accuracy, transparency and timely digitization. “The concerned officers need to verify physical land records with digital entries to remove any errors and ensure reliable data,” he directed.
To speed up the process, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to expedite work at all levels including Patwari level (maker), Girdawar/Naib Tehsildar level (checker) and Tehsildar level (approver).
The meeting was attended by ACR Idrees Lone and other officers. SDMs & Tehsildars attended through virtual mode.
