KISHTWAR: The District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) met today in Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Pankaj Kumar Sharma to review and approve applications submitted under the Mission YUVA scheme.
A total of 61 applications, duly verified by the Small Business Development Units (SBDUs), were presented before the Committee. Each proposal was assessed based on eligibility, project feasibility and the socio-economic background of the applicant.
After detailed scrutiny, the Committee approved all applications with 60 of them seeking financial assistance under the Nano Enterprises Scheme and one under MSME.
Emphasizing the importance of empowering youth to drive local economic growth, the DC directed the AD Employment to ensure that all approved cases are forwarded to banks at the earliest to ensure timely disbursement of the loan assistance.
The meeting was attended by the ADDC, Vinod Kumar Behnal; DSWO, Tariq Parvez Qazi; AD Employment, Mamta Sudershan; FM DIC and other concerned officers.
