DODA: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, today chaired a meeting at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to review the saturation of beneficiary-oriented schemes. He directed officers to provide updated data on pending beneficiaries, conduct special camps for enrolment, and adopt a convergence approach to maximise outreach. Transparency in beneficiary identification through Aadhaar-seeded databases and door-to-door verification was also stressed.
Special focus was laid on identifying marginalised groups and remote areas that may have been inadvertently left out. The Deputy Commissioner called for intensified awareness campaigns, better inter-departmental coordination, and efficient service delivery. He reiterated that saturation is not only a developmental goal but a step towards inclusive governance and social justice.
