Night curfew (10 PM to 6 AM) imposed in all Municipalities
DODA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today informed the public representatives and civil society members about the fresh covid control measures.
The DC informed them that the night curfew shall be imposed from today i.e from 10 PM to 6 AM and directed the police department to implement the same in letter and spirit.
The DC also directed the police department and other concerned to give wide publicity about Universal mask usage among the general public and to increase penalties upon all the violators so that it shall be followed by the general public in toto.
Regarding 50% opening of shops within the urban local bodies, the DC directed the ADC Doda and EO MC to devise the mechanism for smooth operation of market avoiding inconvenience to the general public and to implement the directions by tomorrow, positively.
Moreover, the DC directed the ARTO, Dy SP traffic to work in coordination with all stakeholders so that public transport operates smoothly with 50% of capacity.
The DC also directed the CMO to ensure 100% vaccination of all shopkeepers , besides to mobilise the human resource at Baggar so that testing of all the inward movement shall be expedited within days.
The DC urged all the stakeholders to extend full support to the district administration so that the surge of Covid virus shall be curbed, besides asking them to appeal to the general public to follow the SOP’s in the market places on priority basis.
