BUDGAM: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today convened a meeting of Officers to seek follow up of the issues raised during weekly Block Diwas held last week at Chraripora Panchayat of Pakherpora block.
The DC was present in person during the Block Diwas to take spot appraisal of public issues, grievances and demands.
At the outset, the DC sought department wise response to the issues projected during Block Diwas from the officers concerned.
He said that public outreach programmes such as Block Diwas are devised to reach out to the people at their doorsteps and redress their problems with the intervention of concerned departments besides assessing the progress of developmental works.
DC laid emphasis on resolving all projected issues through inter-departmental coordination with active involvement of PRI members.
ADDC Budgam, Dr.Akramullah Tak; CMO, CEO, ACD, ACP, SDM Chadoora, CHO, CAO, Ex. Engineers of PWD, PHE, PDD, Tehsildar and several other district officers, block level officers attended the meeting.
