BARAMULLA: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, along with the SDM Pattan, Gulzar Ahmad today visited Aspirational Block Singhpora to review the status of developmental works and essential public services in the area.
During the visit, the DC inspected various institutions including Government Boys’ Middle School Kripalpora and Primary School at Batakpora to check for the facilities including toilet and sanitation facilities for girls.
The DC also conducted a detailed inspection of the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in the block and reviewed the availability and functioning of healthcare facilities.
Meanwhile, the DC also interacted with local residents and community representatives, patiently listening to their grievances and concerns. He assured them that the issues raised would be addressed on priority in coordination with the concerned departments.
Emphasising the objectives of the Aspirational Blocks Programme of NITI Aayog, the DC directed the concerned officers to work in a mission mode to achieve complete saturation of the identified KPIs during the 3 month long Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 campaign period.
