2604 Grievances out of 2710 Grievances Redressed in a Time Bound Manner

BARAMULLA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Bhupinder Kumar today chaired a meeting of  concerned officers to take stock of current status and position of public grievances that have been received by virtue of Lieutenant Governor’s specially established online grievance redressal portal.

On the occasion, a comprehensive discussion on the subject was held wherein it was informed that about 2710 online grievances pertaining to various departments were registered among which 2604 grievances have been addressed well within the stipulated time frame whereas the remaining are in different phases of execution.

After taking a thorough review, DC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure timely and prompt redressal of all the grievances. He said that an effective and proper grievance redressal mechanism is the cornerstone of a welfare administration. 

DC further added that administration is working with utmost zeal and dedication towards addressing the issues of people in a convenient and hassle free manner.

Moreover, DC directed the concerned officers to ensure all the registered grievances reach their logical conclusion within the stipulated time frame. He also extended his appreciation to all those officers who successfully disposed of all their grievances within a time bound manner.

ADDC Baramulla Aijaz Abdullah Saraf, ADC Baramulla Mohammad Ahsan Mir, SDMs, heads of various departments, district and sectoral officers among other concerned functionaries attended the meeting.
