BANDIPORA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, on Saturday chaired a meeting at the mini secretariat to review the status of saturation of beneficiary-oriented schemes across the district.
The meeting was convened to assess department-wise progress on various government welfare schemes and to ensure that benefits are being extended to the last eligible citizen in a timely and transparent manner.
DC stressed the need to achieve 100% saturation in all beneficiary schemes being implemented by various departments.
During the meeting, different departments presented the latest figures, progress reports, and issues concerning the implementation of schemes under their respective jurisdictions.
On the occasion, DC directed all departmental heads to intensify efforts and improve performance indicators with regard to the saturation of schemes. He emphasized that saturation of government schemes is vital for ensuring social equity and inclusive development, and that no eligible individual should be left out of the benefits.
Qadri also instructed officers to identify gaps, remove bottlenecks, and strengthen ground-level execution, while maintaining accuracy and accountability in data reporting. He reiterated the importance of inter-departmental coordination to meet the targets within defined timelines.
The meeting was attended by heads of key departments including Revenue, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Education, Health, Food, Social Welfare, PHE, I&FC, MC, JKEDA, Tribal Affairs, besides other concerned officials.
