ANANTNAG: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla today directed the concerned officers to expedite the registration process under PMJAY-Sehat/Ayushman Bharat scheme so that cent percent coverage is achieved in near future.
The DDC said this while reviewing the progress made by the district under the scheme during a meeting with officers of Health and other departments at the DC office, here.
Dr Singhla on the occasion passed directions to the District Coordinator CSCs to ensure faster registration and enrolment in a time bound manner. He said the progress of CSCs must be monitored by SDMs in their jurisdictions and they should be assisted by functionaries of RDD, CAPD etc.
Stressing for increasing the pace of registration process, the DDC directed CMO for mobilising the health workers and ASHAs besides generating mass awareness through hoardings, posters etc across the district.
Dr. Singla called for prioritising the families having no registered member so far and issued instructions to the concerned in this regard.
The meeting was also attended by CPO, BMOs and other concerned officers.
