NEW DELHI: Conquering one of the world’s toughest mountain routes, Uttar Pradesh’s Divya Singh has completed a rare cycling expedition to the Everest Base Camp.

This determined woman from Gorakhpur spent 14 gruelling days navigating treacherous Himalayan trails, unpredictable weather and challenging high-altitude conditions.

Singh, who started her journey in Kathmandu, cycled for at least 10 to 12 hours daily.

As she climbed higher into the Himalayas, oxygen levels dropped, making breathing difficult and increasing the risk of altitude sickness, yet — fuelled by her unwavering focus and determination — she continued.

In an Instagram video, Divya is seen proudly holding the Indian Tricolour.
