Ganderbal: Department of Politics and Governance (DPG), Central University of Kashmir (CUK) conducted an orientation-cum-induction programme for the fresh batch of students in M A Political Science here Tuesday.
Dean School of Social Sciences, Prof. Hamidullah Marazi and Senior Professor, Prof. Noor Ahmad Baba shared their experiences in understanding the subject for career prospective. Prof. Hamidullah Marazi advised the students on how to approach university life. Prof Baba mentioned the importance of university education for personality development.
The faculty members also welcomed the students and shared the diverse approach of the department in dealing with the career in Political Science. They were briefed about the syllabus, extra-curricular activities and the academic plan for their first semester.
