Prof. Fayaz A Nikka said the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week every year is a part of the multi-pronged approach of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) to sensitize the employees and the people about the ways and means to check corruption.

Addressing the participants through online mode, Registrar, Prof. M Afzal Zargar said, that despite stringent laws and establishment of several government institutions to check the bribery and other forms of corruption in public and private organizations, it is still rampant.
