KUPWARA: Commissioner Settlement, Shahnawaz Bukhari today convened a meeting of Revenue Officers here to review the progress of updation, preparation of Jamabandies and implementation of ‘Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme’ (DILRMP) in Kupwara district.
At the outset, Assistant Commissioner Revenue apprised the Commissioner about the functioning and special efforts of revenue functionaries in streamlining the essential revenue records. He informed that all 379 Jamabandies have been completed in the district thus paving way for its digitalization.
The Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the progress of written Jamabandies and directed the concerned officers to keep records ready for digitalization within 10 days. He further directed them to fine tune the Jamabandies after proper partal by Director S&LR for its digitalization.
Regional Director, S&LR, Baramulla, Nazir Ahmad Baba, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, SDM Lolab, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars attended the meeting.
