SRINAGAR: Condemning the slapping of public safety act (PSA) on three youth from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Friday said ‘it is such coercion by authoritarian state that pushes youth to take to arms and ending up their lives.’

Taking to Twitter, Mirwaiz said while the coercion push youth to end their lives by taking up army Indian state then hail the youth’s killings as ‘badi Kamiyabi’ (big achievement).

“Strongly denounce the arbitrary arrest of three youth Tawseef lone, Abdul Samad andSuhail parray of Bandipora, shifting them to Kotbalwal jail in Jammu and slapping the draconian PSA on them. It is such injustice and coercion by the authoritarian state that pushes our youth to take to arms and end up paying with their dear lives while the Indian state hails these killings as “badi kamiyabi”!” Mirwaiz tweeted.

Police has booked three persons—Tawseef Lone, Abdul Samad Malla and Suhail Ahmed Parray— under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Bandipora district.

The trio has been shifted to Kotbalwal Jail in Jammu.
