KULGAM: The District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson Kulgam, Mohammad Afzal Parrey visited several areas of Pombay and took stock of Snow clearance and restoration of essential services in his DDC constituency.
He took spot appraisal of snow clearance work and availability of other basic amenities.
The Chairperson visited Gopalpora, Nehama and other adjoining areas. He also visited PHC Nehama to take firsthand appraisal of functioning of health care facilities and availability of medicines.
Emphasizing on providing hassle-free health services to the general public, the Chairperson instructed concerned to ensure that the healthcare system functions smoothly and better patient care is provided at all health institutions.
He also interacted with the people and enquired about the availability of essentials and other services in the area.
Parrey also stressed the concerned departments including PDD, Jal Shakti besides others to carry out the restoration measures at a fast pace.
