Bottlenecks on Sempora -Wuyan road removed; Er Aijaz hails R&B for timely work

Srinagar: All the bottlenecks on the Balhama road stretch were removed by the R&B Department while as DDC member for Khonmoh Er Aijaz Hussain hailed the department for timely work and removal off hold-ups that were causing a huge inconvenience to locals and other commuters of the area.

Er Aijaz said that there are many bottlenecks on the Balhama road stretch that connects with Sempora and then Pantha Chowk on one side and Wuyan and Khrew on the other side. He said that locals and other commuters were facing a lot of inconvenience due to the short length and breadth of road at several spots.

Er Aijaz hailed the R&B department for timely work of identified spots stating that commuters and locals were facing immense hardships during travel as roads at some stretches were in a real bad shape causing trouble to people. He said Balhama road is a crucial road link that connects Sempora with Pantha Chowk on one side and with Wuyan and Khrew on the other side.

Locals of the area, while appreciating Er Aijaz for pursuing the issue of removal of bottlenecks ahead of winter, said that it was due to the personal efforts of DDC members that R&B removed the hold-ups. They said that the smooth ride on the road will prevent accidents and save lives as well besides providing cement laden trucks, school buses and ambulances which other would get stuck in traffic snarls for hours.
