Govt Polytechnic College Kishtwar organises Road Safety Awareness Prog

KISHTWAR: With an aim to spread the awareness regarding Traffic Rules, Motor Vehicle Act and working of enforcing agencies on the ground, Government Polytechnic College, Kishtwar today organised a Road Safety Awareness Programme in collaboration with Traffic Police.

The programme was divided into three sessions viz Poster Making competition, Debate & presentation of Skit by the students. The programme was initiated by Principal, Er. H A Bhardwaj.

District Traffic Inspector, S. Harmohinder Singh was the Chief Guest at the Programme.

More than 200 students & staff members participated in the event. The winners of Poster & Debate competitions were awarded with prizes.

The District Traffic Inspector, conducted an interactive session, covering most of the topics of MVA, Traffic Rules & how to challan a violator under different sections of Law along with motivation to the budding engineers. A pledge was organised to follow the traffic rules.

The principal of the institute also addressed the participants and urged them to follow with traffic rules and spread awareness among the masses as the life is very precious.

The event was organised with the active participation of Er. Arun Singh, Er. Arshad Ranja, Er. Dheeraj Shan, Er. Sachin Kumar, Er. Vikas Sharma, Er. Umara Naz,   Suman Sen, &   Nowreen Anjum.

The vote of thanks was presented by Er. Raj Kumar, HOD of the college.
