LEH: The representatives of the apex body, who have called for a boycott to LAHDC polls scheduled to be held next month in the Union Territory of Ladakh, Saturday met the Union home minister Amit Shah.

The apex body of veteran leaders, socio-political, religious and student bodies was formed in Ladakh, demanding constitutional guarantees under 6th schedule.

Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a senior leader and a founding member of the apex body, who was part of the representatives who met Amit Shah, said that the meeting with him remained inconclusive.

He said they met the union home minister today but it remained inconclusive and they will separately brief about it.

The leader said that they would hold a press briefing tomorrow morning and brief about the results of the meeting.

Pertinently, the apex body in Ladakh has called for a complete poll boycott of 6th general autonomous hill development council (LADHC) (Leh) election given the demand for 6th schedule.
