The Anjuman said effects of the great spiritual revolution Hazrat Peeraan-e-Peer (RA) created through his character, deeds, and his sermons of goodness  can still be seen and felt around the Islamic world.

The solution to the many problems face by the Muslims today lies solely in following the teachings of Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) and our pious predecessors of Islam sincerely in accordance with the instructions of Qur’an and Sunnah, the Anjuman Auqaf said.

The Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid said that on 9 Rabi-ul-Thaani, as a centuries-old tradition, Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq would visit the Khanyar shrine and addresses a large gathering on people there.

On the special occasion, the Mirwaiz would shed light on the great spiritual personality and his accomplishments and valuable services; however due to the  continuous illegal and arbitrary house detention of the Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir since 5 August 2019, it could not be possible this year too, which is extremely painful and disturbing for the people of Kashmir, the Anjuman said—(KNO)
