Pays obeisance at famous Sun Temple of Mattan, Gurdwara Mattan & shrine of Hazrat Zain u din Wali (R.A) Aishmuqam
ANANTNAG: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid today visited the famous Sun Temple of Mattan, Gurdwara Mattan and shrine of Sakhi Zain-u-din Wali Aishmuqam and paid homage at all the places.
While reacting to the warm welcome by the people of Aishmuqam and Mattan at the said places the DDC was overwhelmed by the warm reception. The DDC said that this district truly represents the vasudeva kutumbakam values of our country as it is the abode of Lord Shiva and revered Sufi shrines of Hazrat Zain ud din Reshi, Reshimool sahab and more Sufi shrines and temples.
The president and caretakers of the Mattan Sun Temple accompanied the Deputy Commissioner. During the (visit) DC interacted with devotees.
At Aishmuqam President MC Aishmuqam apprised the DC about the developmental scenario of the area and the future developmental plans and assured DC of their full support and cooperation.
The DDC was accompanied by the officers from all the departments, Sub District Administration and Tehsil Administration, people and representatives from different sections.
The DDC Anantnag interacted with the locals and assured them to resolve their collective issues on priority to continue on the path of progress, development and social change.
