SRINAGAR: A delegation comprising of office bearers of All Jammu & Kashmir Revenue Officers Association (AJKROA) led by President AJKROA, Sheikh Tariq held a meeting with Skandan Krishnan here today.
Meeting was held in a cordial and warm atmosphere where the advisor gave a patient hearing to the grievances of Revenue Officers. In addition to the written representation; Advisor was also briefed about the spectrum of problems being faced by Revenue Officers of J&K.
Advisor was apprised about the non-induction of Revenue Officers on timely basis as per laid down norms so that step motherly treatment meted out to feeding service of Revenue department is henceforth stopped and morale of Revenue Officers is uplifted to serve the State better.
He was also apprised about plight of I/C and L/A Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars and requested to promote them the same date they were assigned the duties and Tehsildars or Naib Tehsildars.
Advisor was informed about the crystal clear Pay Anomaly faced by the Naib Tehsildars which in similar posts of SOs and AAOs have been given a superior grade pay.
Request regarding framing of employee friendly transfer policy in the department was made. So that Officers discharge their duties with peace of mind and efficiency.
Advisor was also requested by delegation of AJKROA to provide legal impunity to Revenue Officers (Executive Magistrates) from criminal prosecution for any act done in good faith while discharging their official duties.
Advisor was requested to argument the budgetary allocation of various heads and upgrade the infrastructure and facilities of newly created administrative units.
