Advisor Nasir Aslam engages with Film and Entertainment Industry leaders at FICCI Frames, Mumbai

MUMBAI: Advisor to Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani held a series of meetings with prominent film and entertainment industry leaders and stakeholders on the sidelines of FICCI Frames at Mumbai.

The Interactions centered around promoting Jammu and Kashmir as a premier destination for film shooting and developing a vibrant film ecosystem in J&K.

The Advisor highlighted the Government’s commitment to facilitate film production in J&K and assured the filmmakers and industry representatives of all necessary support and assistance for shooting their projects in the region. He also invited them to explore the scenic and diverse locales of Jammu and Kashmir for their upcoming ventures.

Among those who met the Advisor included heads and senior representatives from the Producers Guild of India, National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), Motion Picture Association (America), Prasar Bharati, Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA), and several other leading film bodies and production houses.

The meetings provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between the J&K Government and the national film fraternity, aimed at reviving the J&K’s rich cinematic legacy and positioning it as a preferred destination for filmmakers across the globe.
