ADC Ramban reviews curfew implementation, vaccination drive in Rajgarh

Directs JPDCL to repair damaged transformer at Ashla, seeks deployment of addl vaccination team in remote areas

RAMBAN: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Harbans Lal, today carried out an extensive tour of Rajgarh tehsil to inspect the enforcement of Corona Curfew imposed in wake of rising Covid cases.

He also inspected PHC Rajgarh and reviewed the vaccination of age-appropriate people, particularly, first timers.

The ADC was accompanied by DySP, Headquarters, Rajinder Singh and Tehsildar, Rajgarh, Omi Raj Sombria, besides other officers.

The ADC went around the market to tame stock of the Corona Curfew restrictions. He asked Tehsildar to ensure that no violations of Covid SoPs and curfew restrictions take place as it is very important to break the chain of transmission of rising cases in the district.

While holding discussion with PRIs, the Additional DC highlighted the recent announcement made by the Government to set up 5-bedded Covid Care Centres at Panchayat level. He said the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, has held a meeting today and modalities shall be finalized soon.

The ADC also passed directions to the chemical shops not to sell any medicine without proper prescription from registered medical practitioners, adding that necessary orders in this regard stand already issued by the DDMA.

Later, the Additional DC reviewed the ongoing vaccination drive at PHC, where he advised the health staff to initiate house-to-house drives to cover all people who are above the age of 45 years.

Responding to the demand raised by the people to deploy one additional mobile team for vaccination, the ADC directed the Health Department to ensure the same.

The Additional DC also spoke to Executive Engineer, JPDCL and asked him to immediately repair the damaged transformer at Ashla Rajgarh. He asked him to submit an action taken report in the matter.   

He also directed the Tehsildar to flag all important issues of the Tehsil so that they are projected before the District Administration for quick disposal.
