NEW DELHI: More than a month after the arrest of Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, the brothers in whose nightclub in Goa a deadly fire had killed 25 people, the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) on Friday morning conducted searches on their premises in Delhi and Goa.

The searches are being conducted at five premises in Delhi and three in Goa.

They are the owners of Birch by Romeo Lane, where the fire had erupted on December 6 last year.

The Luthra brothers, who had fled to Thailand within hours of the fire, were arrested by Goa Police at the immigration counter of the Delhi airport on December 17, after being deported from Bangkok.

Their Indian passports had earlier been suspended, and they were deported on emergency certificates, a one-way travel document issued by the Indian embassy in Thailand.
