Culmination event held with community spirit in Ganderbal

GANDERBAL: On the conclusion of the first phase of celebration of 150 years of national song ‘Vande Mataram’, a heartfelt culmination event was today organised by Education department Ganderbal in collaboration with Information department Ganderbal and National Informatics Centre Ganderbal here today.

The event presided over by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Syed Faheem Bihaqi, witnessed an encouraging response from residents, students besides officers and officials of district Ganderbal.

The programme began with the mass singing of national song led by students of JNV Hatbura, which was followed by the screening of thoughtful films celebrating patriotism, unity, and India’s vibrant cultural heritage.

Speaking to the gathering, ADC expressed sincere appreciation for the community’s spirited participation. He encouraged people, especially the youth to stay connected with initiatives that nurture national pride and unity.

A warm moment of recognition followed, as certificates were presented to participants by the chief guest for their performances and contributions to the Vande Mataram initiative. Smiles, applause, and a sense of shared accomplishment filled the venue.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from the organizers, who acknowledged the cooperation of various departments, institutions, and individuals whose support made the event meaningful and memorable.
