DC Samba reviews implementation of HADP & JKCIP Projects

SAMBA: District Development Commissioner, Samba Ayushi Sudan today chaired the District Level Implementation Committee meeting to review the progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and the Jammu and Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP).

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner held detailed deliberations on the status of major projects and reviewed the list of feasible beneficiaries for final selection under various Agriculture and Allied Department schemes. A total of 236 beneficiaries under HADP and 59 beneficiaries under JKCIP were approved during the meeting.

The DDC emphasized widening coverage under allied sectors including Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, Horticulture, Sericulture, and Horticulture Planning & Marketing to ensure wider outreach and tangible impact across the district. She directed concerned officers to ensure timely implementation of approved cases and provide continuous support to beneficiaries.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Samba, Champa Devi Thakur, GM DIC, DFO Samba, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer and other officers of the concerned departments.
