DC Ramban reviews progress under District Capex Budget 2025–26

Stresses on 100% physical, financial achievement

RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress under the District Capex Budget 2025–26.

The meeting aimed to ensure achievement of 100% physical and financial targets, effective, transparent and timely implementation of all approved developmental projects of RDD, PWD, Jal Shakti, JPDCL, Education, Health, Urban Local Bodies and other departments across the district.

 Assistant Commissioner Development, officers from the line departments and engineers from REW, PWD, PDD, PMGSY, besides Block Development Officers (BDOs) and other executing agencies were in attendance.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status of ongoing developmental works and discussed the implementation of the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) Plan. Detailed deliberations were also held on new project proposals, requirements for ongoing works and local developmental priorities.

The DC directed the Executive Engineer REW to take up allotted works immediately and expedite the process for allotment for the remaining approved works. He also asked the development departments to construct Community Sanitary Complexes (CSCs) at prominent public locations and conduct regular cleanliness drives in their respective areas to promote hygiene and sanitation.

Further, the BDOs were directed to complete all SOS works, both physically and financially, as the requisite funds have already been released.

Emphasizing timely execution and accountability, the Deputy Commissioner underscored that achieving developmental goals requires close coordination among departments.
