Rana pays tributes to Hazrat Mian Bashir Ahmed Larvi

POONCH: A solemn and dignified commemorative programme was held today in Poonch to mark the 4th death anniversary of the revered spiritual luminary, Hazrat Mian Bashir Ahmed Larvi (RA).

The event was organised by Halla Bollé, drawing a large gathering of scholars, community leaders and admirers of the late spiritual leader.

Javed Ahmed Rana, Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, attended the event as the chief guest and paid rich tributes to Mian Bashir Larvi.

In his address, the Minister hailed Mian Sahib as a towering spiritual figure and an unwavering champion of humanity, compassion and social justice.

“Mian Bashir Sahib was not just a religious leader, but a beacon of hope for the oppressed and a tireless advocate for dignity and equality,” Rana said. “His life was a testament to the power of selfless service and his legacy continues to inspire the generations to walk the path of righteousness, compassion and unity.”

He emphasized the enduring relevance of Mian Bashir’s message in today’s times, urging the society to draw strength from his teachings and values.

“In an era of division and uncertainty, his vision of inclusive harmony and empowerment remains more important than ever,” he added.

The event was attended by Administrator Zia Ul Uloom, Maulana Syed A. Habib, historian and columnist K.D. Maini, Advocates Mahroof Khan, Zaman Mir, Nazir Choudhary and Taj Mir, Editor of Halla Bollé Dr. Zamurrad Mughal, Chairman of Sarimastaan Foundation Ch. Muhammad Asad Noomani, Dr. Anwar Khan, Haroon Rathore, Sardar Surjan Singh and Mohammad Sayeed, among others.

Attendees reflected on Mian Bashir Ahmed Larvi’s monumental contributions to spiritual life, community upliftment and social harmony.

The gathering collectively resolved to carry forward the values of peace, service and justice that defined his life.
