Srinagar: Two days after an RSS leader and his security guard were shot dead in Kishtwar, a CCTV footage where the suspect in the case can be seen leaving the district hospital where the incident took place.
The firing took place at 12:30 pm on Tuesday when a militant barged into the health center and opened fire targeting RSS leader, Chanderkant Sharma. According to the police, the militant was tracking Sharma’s movement for quite some time before finally making the final assault.
After the incident, curfew was imposed in the town and internet connectivity was suspended as protests broke out against the government. The army was called in to maintain the law and order in the town.
