BUDGAM: The District Administration Budgam made elaborate arrangements for live telecast of release of 13th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi event by Prime Minister Narinder Modi at district headquarter, besides at Block and Zonal Agriculture Offices.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Akaramullah Tak along with Chief Agriculture Officer, Syed Tafazal Hussain, officers and officials of Agriculture and allied sectors besides as many as 100 farmers of Budgam block attended the live telecast programme in the Conference Hall of DC office Budgam.
Farmers hailed the message of the Prime Minister for promoting agri start-ups and pro-farmers initiatives.
Interacting with the farmers, the ADDC informed that 49000 beneficiaries (farmers) of the district have been provided Rs 2000 through DBT mode under the 13th installment of PM Kisan.
The farmers were also apprised about initiatives of the government to support the Agriculture sector.
Similar, live telecast events were arranged at the block, Zonal and Panchayat level by officers and officials of the Agriculture department for the farmers where large numbers of Farmers participated.
